Site Dewatering & Groundwater Control in Iowa

Site dewatering and groundwater control is the engineered, whole-site version of keeping water out of your way. When an excavation, a building pad, or an entire site sits below the water table, we design and run the system that keeps it dry for the duration of the work.

Groundwater control at the site scale is more than dropping in a pump. It's a designed system — wellpoints, deep wells, or cutoff walls — sized to the site's hydrology and the depth of the cut, with discharge managed so you stay compliant and don't flood the neighbor.

We assess the soils and the groundwater, pick the right method, install the system, and run it through the life of the project — monitoring drawdown, adjusting capacity, and demobilizing only when the work below grade is done and the excavation is backfilled.

This is where our drainage and our excavation experience come together. We understand both the water and the dirt, and we build a groundwater control plan that keeps your site workable without surprises — on commercial sites in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, and across Eastern Iowa.
