Underground Utility Installation in Iowa
Robinson Service Inc · since 1966

An underground utility line is only as good as its installation. Pipe laid without proper bedding settles and cracks; lines run too close to each other cause interference and make future repairs a nightmare. We install each line at the right depth, with the right bedding, and the right separation from neighboring utilities.
We handle water and sewer service lines, storm drainage, electrical conduit, and combined utility trenches — coordinating depth and separation so the whole below-grade system plays nice. We pressure-test and inspect before backfill so there are no surprises after the trench is closed.
From a single rural water service to a multi-line commercial utility trench, we bring the trenching capacity and the utility experience to install it correctly and leave the surface ready to restore. We handle underground utility installation across Eastern Iowa, from Cedar Rapids and Marion to the rural communities of Delaware County.
